Biography
Andrew Lyons was born in St. Louis, Missouri. He grew up in San Antonio, Texas. He attended Washington University in St. Louis where he received degrees in English Literature and Political Science. After graduation, he set his eyes on Hollywood. He spent his first few years there working on several ill-fated shows, including the short-lived daytime talk show, Marilu, and the even shorter-lived nighttime talk show, The Stephanie Miller Show.
Eventually he joined the staff of Access Hollywood, where he served as the film researcher. Growing weary of getting up at four in the morning each day to write, he left the show in October of 2000 to concentrate on completing his novel, Darkness in Him. In May of 2001, he ran out of money and took an associate producer position with the music network, VH-1. In the fall of 2001, Darkness in Him was purchased by St. Martin's Press. Andrew lives and writes in Los Angeles.
Darkness in Him by Andrew Lyons is represented by Gotler and Associates in conjunction with Noah Lukeman of Lukeman Literary Management Ltd.
